Common Name Leedal's Stolzia [British Original Collector of species 1900's]

Found in southwestern Tanzania on trunks of trees in montane riverine forests at elevations of 1800 to 1950 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with approximate, subspherical, slightly compressed dorsiventally pseudobulbs carrying a single, apcail, erect, linear to linaer-lanceolate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, peduncle very slender, wiry, .96" to 1.6" [2.4 to 4 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acute floral bracts and carrying brown, large for the genus flowers.
