Found in Peru at unknown elevations in light woodlands as both an epiphyte and lithophyte with small, narrow, conical pseduobulbs without spines and carrying 2 to 3, plicate, drooping, lanceolate, leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on an erect, 3.2" [8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with narrow bracts
