Found in New Guinea at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with no leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a somewhat dense, peduncel setiform, to 1.2" [3 cm] long, distichous, 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence carrying small flowers.

Schlechter states that the flowers are white.
