Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with no stem and with 2 to 3, erect-patent, oblanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late fall on a erect-patent, to 1.2" [to 3 cm] long, laxly 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence with foliaceous, elliptic, apiculate, longer than the flowers floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow green
