Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 900 meters as a super-mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with no stem and carrying about 2 to 3, erect, ligulate, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on a flexuous, erect-patent, about as long as the leaves, .1 to .16" [2.5 to 3.5 mm] long, muricate-roughened, laxly 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow.
