Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with no stem and with 2 to 3, erect-patent, lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect-patent, .6 to 1.8" [1.5 to 4.5 cm] long, sublaxly 7 to 20 flowered inflorescence with foliaceous, lanceolate, setaceous-acuminate, equal to the flowers in length floral bracts.
Schlechter stated that the flowers are green
