Found in far northeastern Queensland Australia in highland rainforests on trees often in the twigs of the outer canopy at elevations of 1000 to 1250 meters as a cool growing epiphyte with green, adpressed to the host roots giving rise in the winter and spring on an axillary, elongating during flowering, peduncel filiform, hailess, rachis thick, fleshy, zig-zag, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, 5 to 50 flowered inflorescence with distichous bracts.
