Found in New Guinea at elevations around 200 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the early winter on a setiform, distichous, 1.6" [4 cm] long, densely 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with minutely triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow.
