Found in New Guinea at elevations around 350 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a setiform peduncle, .8" [2 cm] long, laxly 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with apiculate, triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are whitish.
