Found in New Guinea at elevations around 800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the winter on a flexuous, setiform peduncle, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, laxly 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence with minute, ovate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are pale greenish yellow.
