Found in New Guinea at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a flexuous, setiform peduncle, 2.4" [6 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence with triangular, apiculate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are white yellow.
