Found in New Guinea at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a serrate, distichous, filiform peduncle, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, densely 5 to 12 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are pale yellow.
