Found in New Guinea at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a densely muricate-hispid, to 1" [2.5 cm] long, densely few flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are pale yellow.
