Found in the Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Niue, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis & Futna, Cook Islands, Pitcairn, Society Islands, Tuanota, Tubuai and the Marianas Islands in coastal to lower montane forests at elevations of sealevel to 400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a network of flattened spreading roots giving rise in the summer to a short, densely verruculose, fractiflex, densely few flowered inflorescence with ovate bracts.
