Found in New Guinea in forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the early summer on a densely muricate-hispid, peduncle to 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, densely few flowered inflorescence with lanceoalte, acute floral bracts.
Schlechter stated that the flowers are greenish with white tips.
