Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a flexuous, short stem carrying 2 to 3, erect, lanceoalte-ligulate, acuminate, attenuate leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on an erect, setiform peduncle, .2 to .52" [.5 to 1.3 cm] long, laxly few flowered inflorescence with minute floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are red brown.
