Found in Sri Lanka in tropical wet evergreen forests by streans at elevations around 100 to 200 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, minute, leafless and stemless epiphyte with and flattened, frleshy dark green, tortuous roots giving rise to scale like leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, peduncle apically jointed, slightly bent at the joint, .64" [1.6 cm] long, successively single, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with minute, lanceolate, acute floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow flowers.
