Found in New Guinea at elevations arounds 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves and very broad roots that blooms in the fall on a filiform, 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely few flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow.
