Found in New Guinea on trees in savannah along rivers at elevations around 150 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a setiform, thin, to 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence with minute, triangular, bifarius floral bracts.
