Found in New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu on trees in montane forests at elevations around 50 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with terete roots that blooms in the spring, summer and fall on a lateral, to 2" [5 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence with distichous bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are white to pale yellow orange.
