Found in New Guinea on trees in montane forests at elevations around 300 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late spring on a serrate, .8" [2 cm] long, densely, successively, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are pure white
