Found in northern Queensland Australia in rainforests on twigs or trees at elevations of 400 to 1250 meters as a small to large sized, hot to cool growing epiphtye with numerous, flattened, pale green to grey green roots that blooms in the winter through spring on a horizontal, long white pubescent, .2 to .6" [ .5 to 1.5 cm], usually 2 flowered inflorescence with only one flower open at a time.
