Common Name The Kidney-Bearing Taeniophyllum [refers to the callus on the lip]

Flower Size

Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a peduncle setiform, 2" [5 cm] long, ,densely several flowered inflorescence with triangular, minute floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are pale yellow.
