Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the winter on an epedunculate, flexuous, .8" [2 cm] long, subdensely few to several flowered inflorescence with ovate, apiculate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are white yellow with a red marked lip and a column with a red margin.
