Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 250 to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the winter on an epeduculate, somewhat verrucose, flexuous, .2" [.5 cm] long, sublaxly 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence with triangular, apiculate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow with a white lip and the column is red in front.
