Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with no stem and carrying about 3, falcate-ligulate, apiculate, leaves that blooms in the winter on a flexuous, erect-patent, peduncle and rachis angular winged, longer than the leaves, to 2" [to 5 cm] long, sublaxly several flowered inflorescence with deltoid, acute floral bracts.
Schlechter stated that the flowers are green becoming yellowish with age
