Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a hispid, .4" [1 cm] long, dense, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with triangular, apiculate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are white with a with 4 to 6 small, violet-red spots on the lip.
