Found in Savai'i Samoa in montane forests on tree trunks at elevations of 15 to 440 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with many narrow ribbon-like roots that blooms on a filamentous, wiry, peduncle to .12" [3 mm] long,glabrous, .6 to 2.2" [1.5 to 5.5 cm] long overall, rachis glabrous, appearing fractflex, many flowered inflorescence with distichous, traingular, acute bracts carrying minute white to cream dcolored flower..
