Common Name Schlechter's Taeniophyllum [German Botanist early 1900's]

Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the early summer on a densely and shortly muricate-papillose, flexuous, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, densely few flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are green-yellow with a lip with a white apex.
