Found in New Guinea on tree in savannahs at elevations around 150 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring on a thin peduncle, glabrous, .4" [1 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with triangular, minute floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that this plant is the smallest within New Guinea and possibly the genus and the flowers are yellow green.
