Found in Taiwan at elevations around 3150 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a creping rhizome giving rise to ovoid to elongate ovoid, .48 to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm] apart, white pseudobulbs carrying a single, linear, chartaceous, acuminate, narrwoing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, 12 to 15.2" [30 to 38 cm] long, slender, provided with 3 to 4, light brown, sheath like sterile bracts, glabrous, 4 flowered inflorescence with linear, light brown, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
