Common Name Elmer's Tainia [American Orchid Collector and Botanist in the Philippines early to mid 1900's]

Found in the Philippines on Luzon Island at elevations of sealevel to 1300 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with slender, pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying, apical, thin, oblong-lanceolate, slender petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter and later spring on an erect, 26" [to 65 cm] long, loosely few flowered, racemose inflorescence.
