Common Name The Long Inflorescence Tainia

Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm]

Found in the Chinese Himalayas, southern Yunnan province of China, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 900 to 1150 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a strongly 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, broadly ovate, acute to slightly acuminate, somewhat fleshy leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, basal, peduncle 10 to 14" [25 to 35 cm] long, 3 bracted, rachis to 3.2" [8 cm] long, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with aptent, floral bracts.
