Common Name or Meaning The Few Leafed Tainia

Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Java, Sumatra and Borneo in montane forests and in tall grasslands at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with terete-conical, carrying 1 or occasionally 2, elliptic to ovate, acuminate, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a lateral, mid way on the pseudobulb, to 14" to 18" [35 to 45 cm] long, 8 to 15 flowered inflorescence with 3 ovate bracts and narrowly triangular, acute floral bracts with wide open, sometimes fishy smelling flowers
