Common Name The Bolivian Telipogon

Found in Bolivia in montane cloud forests at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped hy imbricate leaf sheaths carrying 5 to 9, distichous, not deciduous, narrowly ovate, acute, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, from the upper leaves, terete, branched, to 3" [7.5 cm] long, successively few, many flowered inflorescence with fleshy triangular floral bracts.
