Found in Chiriqui Panama at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a very short stem enveloped by leaf sheaths carrying 2 to 3, broadly elliptic-oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the late fall through early spring on a terminal or axillary, .8 to 4.4" [ 2 to 11 cm] long, racemose, simultaneously 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate floral bracts carrying non-resupinate, simultaneously opening flowers
