Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in Costa Rica in oak forests at elevations of 2800 to 3300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls carrying oblanceolate-elliptic leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a terminal, to 10.8" [27 cm] long, successively several to 14 flowered inflorescence carrying resupinate, yellow flowers with reddish brown veins and a purple-red center.
