Common Name The Cascajal Telipogon [An area of Costa Rica]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a stem enveloped by imbricate leaf bases and carrying 3 to 5, alternate, distichous, net like reticulated, obovate-elliptic, acute at the apex, narrowing at the base to unite with the sheath leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, unbranched, terete, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, successively single to 3 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate floral bracts.
