Found in Panama at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a caulescent stem carrying elliptic-oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal or axillary, to 8" [20 cm] long ,racemose, simultaneously 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, carinate floral bracts.
