Common Name Hauschild's Telipogon

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Amazonas department of Peru in wet cloud forests at elevations around 3200 to 3300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped by several, articulated foliar sheaths carrying oblong-elliptic, acute leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on an axillary, 1.6" [4 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with pale yellow sepals with a green midvein and pale tan brown lateral veins, the petals yellower with pale rose red veins with a similar lip, a dark red callus and a pale orangish brown column and pale yellow pollina.
