Full Shade Cold

Common Name Hercules Telipogon

Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]

Found in Peru as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying several obovate-oblong-oblanceolate, acute, narrowing into the elongate, conduplicate base leaves that blooms on an axillary, 6 to 13" [15 to 32.5 cm] long, flexuous, fractiflex, very loosely few [3] to several flowered inflorescence with conspicuous, spreading, conduplicate, dorsally carinate, triangular-ovate floral bracts.

Very closely related to and often cited as a synonym of Telipogon papilio, I can find several differences and I have kept them separate here.
