Common Name The Kosnipata Telipogon [Peruvian area in Manu National Park]
Flower Size 1" to 1.2" [2.5 to 2.8 cm]
Found in Peru in cold cloud forests at elevations of 3000 to 3500 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a leafy throughout stem carrying a few oblanceolate, acute to acuminate leaves with fimbriate margins that blooms in the spring on a recurved, sulcate, 4" [ 10 cm] long, successively 2 at a time, 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence with an ovate-triangular, acuminate, dorsally carinate floral bract
Similar to T macchupichensis but differs in the saggitate callus with a saggitate plateau and the column has longer curved bristles.
