Common Name Lankester's Telipogon [American Orchid Enthusiast in Costa Rica 1900's]

Found in Costa Rica and Colombia on thin branches of slender trees at elevations around 800 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect to spreading stems carrying deciduous leaves that are not present at the fall blooming on several elongating, to 8" [20 cm] long, branching, each branch many flowered inflorescence with flowers that have about .2 to .25" [5 to 8 mm] between each flower.
