Found in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru at elevations around 2400 to 3000 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a filiform, flexuous, glabrous stem carrying 4 to 5, erect-patent to suberect, linear, acute, fleshy, glabrous, revolute margin, narrowing below leaves that blooms on an erect, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, glabrous, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuiminate floral bracts.
