Common Name The Black-Purple Telipogon

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Boyaca' department of Colombia at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a very abbreviated stem carrying basal, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, terete, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence.
