Common Name Octavio's Telipogon [Sr Octavio Ospina Colombian Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in southern Colombia and northeastern Ecuador at elevations around 3000 to 3300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a very short stem enveloped completely by distichous, imbricating leaf sheaths carrying narrowly obovate, acute apically, apiculate, narrowing towards the base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, peduncle to 1.2" [3 cm] long, to 2" [5 cm] long overall, flattened,successively 1 to 2, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate, congested, concave, shorter than the 3 winged pedicel, boat-shaped, floral bracts.
