Common Name Pfav's Telipogon [Swiss Orchid Nurseryman in Costa Rica later 1800's]

Found in Costa Rica in very wet forests at elevations around 1850 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an ascending to erect rhizome giving rise to an elongate, flexuous, glabrous stem carrying 3 to 4, erect-patent, narrowly oblong, obtuse, narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, to 8.8" [22 cm] long overall, rachis to 2.4" [6 cm] long, successively 6 to 7 flowered inflorescence with deltoid, apiculate floral bracts.
