Common Name The Moth-Like Telipogon

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in northern Peru in very cold, wet cloud forests at elevations around 3100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an approximate stem and inconspicuous, oblong, flattened pseudobulbs carrying narrowly elliptic, acuminate, conduplicate, cuneate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a basally slender, dilated above, raceme may have a single lateral branch, successively single, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence enveloped almost completely by 4 to 6, ovate, acuminate, keeled bracts
