Found in Pasco department of Peru in wet montane forests on elevations around 2000 to 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an elongate stem with a leafless base carrying 3 to 5, narrowly oblong-elliptic, acute leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a terminal, long pedunculate, racemose, to 7.6" [19 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, few flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying flowers with no color data.
