Found in Cundinamarca department of Colombia near La Calera in cloud forests at elevations around 3000 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an abbreviated stem carrying a few leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, triquetrous, 2 flowered inflorescence.
